About gender equality:

In Canada, women make up less than one quarter of the people employed in STEM careers and less than one fifth of the nuclear sector’s workforce. Research shows that businesses that actively support gender equality tend to make better business decisions – and ultimately make more money.

“Gender equality is a major issue in the nuclear sector, and one that we are working hard to address,” said Rory O’Sullivan, CEO North America, Moltex Energy. “Our goal at Moltex is to close the gender gap by instituting policies that ensure equal pay, equal treatment, equal representation on leadership teams, and equal access to training and career-building opportunities.”
