Moltex Energy is crowd funding!

Help us to reduce the impact of climate change, produce much cheaper, carbon-free electricity and clean up nuclear waste.

Is there anything that each of us can do that will make a meaningful impact on climate change? It feels like the individual actions we might take are just playing around the edges.

Well there is something big we can do. The solution to many of our global energy problems exists: a practical way of producing a net zero carbon economy. It just needs funding. It needs your investment.

As with all investments there is naturally a real risk that any money you invest will be lost. On the plus side, you might get a significant return on your investment one day and you could also be supporting a technology that has a real chance of helping to limit the impact of climate change, cleaning up our stockpiles of nuclear waste and delivering much cheaper electricity. It’s an assessment that you need to make yourself.

If all goes to plan, Moltex Energy will become a large and profitable business. Our technology has the potential to make a disruptive impact on the energy market, globally. To make a start we are seeking funding to put our plan into practise and to make our technology a reality. Our funding round C is open now and we would like between £4m and £5m. We’ve already received £3.3m (including £2.5m from the nuclear engineering consultancy IDOM) which means we’re over 80% of the way to our target. We’re looking for between £700k and £1.7m more.

The money will be used to support our participation in the UK’s Advanced Modular Reactor program, and to continue our progress through the pre-licensing process in Canada, where a major utility wants to build one of our reactors. There’s much more detail about our company and plans behind the INVEST IN MOLTEX button above. Please take a look.

And if it’s not for you, that’s fine of course. You could plant a tree perhaps?
