Molten Salt Reactors and Thorium Energy book published

We are pleased that a definitive, up to date, description of the status of molten salt reactors and thorium research has now been published by Woodhead Publishing (Elsevier). This book was edited by Thomas Dolan and includes four chapters authored or co-authored by Moltex Energy’s Ian Scott. These chapters cover
– the broad class of static molten salt fuelled reactors
– the fast spectrum Wasteburner Stable Salt Reactor
– material science for molten salt reacors (co-authored with Ritsuo Yoshiaka and Moto Kinoshita)
– UK research in molten salt reactors and reprocessing (co-authored with Zara Hodgson from National Nuclear Lab)
